Bhavya Balasubramanian by her dint of excellence qualifies as the torchbearer of bright young dancers and she is a rare combination of high energy and great serenity. Initiated into Bharatnatyam at a tender age of four by Kalaimamani Vazhuvoor R.Samraj under whose able guidance Bhavya had her arangetram at the young age of nine. Her potential promising talent was skillfully brought to focus by Kalaimamani Srekala Bharath under whose tutelage Bhavya transformed herself into an expressive skillful performer. She is presently persuing Nrithyasali course with Nrithyodaya under Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam

· A Master of Fine Arts in Bharatnatyam (Sastra University, India)
· A ‘B’ Grade Artist of Doordarshan, India
· She has completed the Nrithyasali course-An in depth study into the Marga technique of Natya Sastra  with Nrithyodaya under the guidance of Padmabhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam

She has given numerous programmes in India and other countries including USA,Singapore, Canada and Southern Africa.

She is a successful Chartered Accountant by profession.

She has received  the prestigious Nadanamamani from Karthik Fine Arts this year
